Forgotten Island is an animated fantasy adventure movie about two childhood best friends, Jo and Raissa, who get trapped in a magical realm rooted in Filipino mythology.
The story begins on the night before Raissa prepares to move away for college. Jo tries to convince her to stay and preserve their bond. While celebrating their final night together, the two friends stumble through a mysterious portal into Nakali, a hidden island filled with spirits and shapeshifters they only knew from family folklore.
After arriving, they wake up missing hours of memories and find themselves teamed up with a weredog named Raww. They soon learn that the mystical realm gradually feeds on the memories of those inside it. To make matters worse, returning home requires paying a heavy price: losing the memories of their entire friendship. Side by side with their new companions, Jo and Raissa must face dangerous mythological beings like the dreaded Manananggal to escape before they forget each other forever.
